Private care
Older Australians assessed as eligible can access government-subscribed services.
Depending on the service type and the individual's financial circumstances, they may need to contribute to the cost of care.
Government-funded services are regulated and must meet the required aged care standards and regulations.
For many people, the services provided through Government funding meet their needs. Some prefer to access services privately. Some want more services and opt to 'top up' with private services.
We can help you to understand the options.
